Lately when people ask about the business my automated response is roller coaster. I dont know how else to describe the extreme highs and lows that come with entrepreneurship. Especially with our business reaching its peak point of decision making. The point where everything is coming at you at once and the next steps will determine an overall irreversible path. All come with unknown variables. And all the due diligence in the world doesnt take away from any choice being a gamble. Which is the life of being an entrepreneur. But a better description I think is, that Its an adventure. If what motivates you to success is about self-glorification or monetary gain... you would rarely be able to survive it. Caring what people think, or getting embarrassed would take too much of a toll from the get-go. Attaching your identity to your business would give you inevitable disappointments and unnecessary pressure. Everyday has lessons and every moment youre just developing yourself. To apply those lessons to every element in your life. To me success in any facet is doing something that makes you feel passion and happiness. Even though at times the ambiguity and intensity of business can make you feel like your weak or failing... learning your capacity and human potential is more fulfilling than always staying in comfort zones. Youre never weak... youre going after it. Youre never failing... youre just always learning. You will find compassion and understanding along the path. You learn the value of friendship and team versus a desire of personal wealth or power. True wealth and power are in the moments we share together. The happiness we will feel in building something of worth together. Im blessed to have an incredible team with similar hopes. And amazing friendships. At least thats what I take from it all. I sure do love all you peeps. Keep rockin it out.
