Latepost: 11-29-2014 Im completely honored, blessed & blown away by Universal Zulu Nation Minister & Calafias Zulu King Last Man s Solidarity Statement to Propeopleyouth Kmb during our 15th Anniversary/Solidarity Night. We got a 3 for 1 treat! He dropped some knowledge of what UZN is, gave his Solidarity Statement, then surprised us with a few golden bars. Then there was a beautiful expression of Thanks Yous by our MC for the night Ernest Ernie Tamayo to a few of the people who made this amazing night possible: Aleks Figueroa of Dream Jungle Collective for Donating the space to us, Paul Morales DJ Nah Phool our DJ for the whole night, who had me bobbin my head, grooving & singing along to every song all night. On top of that he was the DJ for all of our music performers that came up next. To our sound engineer, DJ Phatrick Huang who took care of all our sound needs & made sure everything sounded clear & beautiful, and Caro & her Dad for renting us the tables & chairs for the night. There is one more Thank you that I would like to give to a couple who couldnt make it because they were out of town the day of our event, but took the time earlier last week to set up & donate his own personal professional lighting system to give the dope ambience that the crowd was able to enjoy when we shut off the house lights and the lights we projected onto & gave life to our dope 72 high PROPEOPLE art installation.
