Pueblo came to us on 10/26/2013 and went home with a family who lives on acreage and will be a companion for their teenage boy who is a cross country runner! Pueblo fell in love with the family’s son immediately. After a very successful meet and greet with the familys Chihuahua and quality time with the family, they knew he was the dog for them. While he was a resident with us, Kelly (his volunteer advocate) and Jacque (Senior Staff Member) took him out on weekly field trips to the Bosque and hiking trails just to keep him happy and focused. Jacque also frequently ran Pueblo on her daily runs to allow him to get his energy out. Pueblo earned his APDT CLASS Title and Basic Obedience title thanks to “Team Guini.” He went home with 8 weeks of free training with Acoma Training Center and a goodie bag.
