Latest Ghana Jobs: Area Sales Manager at Confidential: Location: Greater Accra Region Description: A Reputable Firm seeks the services of an Area Sales Manager Job Title: Area Sales Manager Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Job Purpose * Penetrate and gain market share of the current region with our products * Manage the field sales team to identify and develop large scale business with distributors/wholesalers/ key accounts to improve employer engagements in order to achieve and exceed challenging targets Job DescriptionTechnical/Operations duties * Monitoring competitor activity within area/territory * Territory management: Full responsibility on the goods quantity received from the warehouse to be delivered to the clients, according to accompanying documents * Full responsibility for collections of cash/cheque payments from customers within the area/territory * Maintain and develop new customer relationship in the area * Maintain and increase sales of the company’s products * Set sales targets for individual reps and the team as a whole * Allocating areas to sales representatives * Build, maintain and expand customer base by establishing rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities * Compiling and analyzing sales figures * Dealing personally with major customer accounts * Keeping up to date with products and company information * Collecting customer feedback and conducting marketing research * Weekly preparation and submission of sales reports to direct line manager by electronic mail * Closely monitor activities of salesmen and provide weekly reports on their activities to management * Implement sales promotion activities as and when necessary * Register and ensure customer/distributor contract is in place for all * Provide monthly results assessment of sales staffs activity * Reviews progress of sales representatives throughout the territory * Holds weekly meeting with sales reps/staff * Develop and coach salesmen to achieve optimum results and educate sales team by establishing programs or seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth * Sales and promotion of new product lines * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing team based targets and results * Any other legal duties that may be assigned from time to time Supervisory duties * Day to day supervisory and follow-up activities on functional areas * Collection of payments by salesmen * Collection of data on redistribution of goods Key Performance Measures * Effective monitoring of goods delivered * Prompt reaction to clients grievances * Timely submission of sales reports * Consistently achieve weekly/ monthly sales targets * Timely submission of meeting reports * On-time submission of customer complaints/feedback * Consistently increase sales within area/ territory * Customer satisfaction ratings Key RelationshipsInternal * Commercial Director * HR Department * Accounts dept * Warehouse dept External: Clients Responsibilities for Assets * Office Equipment * Laptop/Computer * Mobile phone & SIM * Modem & SIM * Sales equipment Qualification and Requirements * A minimum of an HND required * At least 2 years working experience Technical & Technological * Report Writing Skills * Selling skills * Negotiating skills * Computer literate * Managerial Competencies None * Specific Working experience Personality attributes * Influencing skills * Relationship building skills * Honesty & Truthfulness * Good Interpersonal Relations * Able to work in high pressure environment If you are qualified for this position, Send your CV to [email protected] or click jobberman.gh/job/51398/area-sales-manager-in-greater-accra-region/ to apply jbgh.me/8C8qwj Share with friends!
