Latest TripAdvisor Review: “Outstanding” Took recommendation of some friends and booked three private tours with this company while on our Disney Cruise out of Barcelona last month (July 2014). DIR was awesome to work with in advance, answered phone calls and emails promptly, accommodated all of our requests for sightseeing including some pretty obscure and non-traditional sites. We used them in Florence, Rome and Athens. We booked about 3-4 months in advance b/c of summer busy season and glad we did. Gave us plenty of time to plan our itinerary. The drivers were prompt, pleasant, fluent in English, had cold bottled water (it was HOT). The van was ample accommodations, clean and well-air-conditioned. With our requests for sites received well in advance, they planned out the day that was best in terms of timing for location of the sites in these cities and managed to beat the crowds just about everywhere. If you use them in Rome, definitely get the advanced purchase Vatican and Colosseum tix thru them for more efficient fastpass experience, esp. if you are pressed for time (as one is on a cruise). There was never a worry that we would not make it back to the boat on time. These guys are awesome. David in Florence, Marco in Rome and Phillip in Athens...thanks, guys. We loved it!!!
