Latest Vacancy: Agile project manager/pmo analyst: Lloyds.London Responsibilities and Accountabilities Deliver ITG projects, ensure all projects conform to the ITG Project Framework o Define, document and execute projects, actively participating in all phases of the delivery whilst adhering to project governance. Ensure Product Owner needs are captured, prioritised and dependencies tracked, coordinating, where required, with other projects and/or systems. Work with the Product Owner in order to organise the Backlog such that delivery can take account of changing business demands. Ensure plans are prepared, maintained and activities tracked against the plan and budget; provide regular reports on progress to stakeholders. Closely manage expectations with business areas and management regarding resources, times and budgets, communicate clear priorities and objectives within the team. Work with the project teams to deliver on a regular cycle. Anticipate, manage and resolve issues, risks, and impediments that may impact the delivery of the project, minimise the impact to other projects and/or services. Coordinate the evaluation of technical options as appropriate and ensure that recommendations are made and decisions reached. Manage and control project to completion within agreed cost, timescale, quality, resource budgets and ensure the delivered products are agreed. Ensure projects are formally handed over to the Service Hub, with all required project documentation reviewed, retrospectives held, feedback captured and actions followed through. Provide Project Management support to ensure projects are successfully delivered: Understand the commercial impact of proposals and assist in the delivery of business cases. Provide estimation, scheduling and risk management expertise to the team. Coordinate plans between projects and monitor resource usage. Monitor and review project performance. Ensure production of consistent and standard project documentation (for example risk registers, schedules, financial templates) Produce consistent and accurate project/programme reports including schedule, financial, resource, risk and issues for governance and communication purposes. Monitor quality and adherence to standards including change management and operational acceptance processes. Contribute to the development of the existing project delivery framework, formalise existing approaches, establish best practice and apply consistency across the management of the ITG project portfolio. Contribute to the Agile Project Management Community of Practice and pro-actively engage in the growth of ITGs Agile practices Skills, Knowledge and Experience Proven expertise in project management and project delivery (ideally using Agile methodologies). Strong PMO background with proven previous experience as a PMO analyst (or similar) and the ability to perform all aspects of the PMO role. Demonstrable success in managing in-house (or external) delivery teams of infrastructure and software application projects. Ability to gain respect from his/her team and be willing to take a hands on approach. Ability to facilitate discussion and facilitate alternatives or different approaches. Good understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management and all the various stages from conceptual design to implementation. Experienced with methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects; backlog tracking, burn-down metrics, velocity and task definition. Experienced with the identification, assessment and management of project risks, issues or dependencies which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose. In depth knowledge of principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. Requires good personal and interpersonal skills, in particular those listed below: Facilitation Interviewing Presentation Successfully managed concurrent multiple projects.
