Latest (awesome!) update on Genesis from her Good Buddy: Genesis has graduated to the 20 foot lead. We worked in the fenced field first to see if she would obey commands and not bolt since she was not on the short lead. She walked all over the field staying within 10 - 15 feet of me. She never really stretched it to the max. She would trot back over closer when I called her. She would "come" and "sit" after a little work. She just had to understand what I wanted her to do. We then went outside the fence to areas where there were distractions...the cat trails at the back property line and in the area of Intake. She did pretty well and was fairly easy to get her pat attention to me and not to focus on the different smells. We finished up with a cool down in the play room and she was just an absolute Love Bug!!! She is absolutely a SWEETHEART and very smart!!!
