Latest computer model forecasts have marginally increased the wind - TopicsExpress

Latest computer model forecasts have marginally increased the wind / gust speeds on Tuesday morning – bringing a slightly greater risk over a longer time period of gusts 45-55 MPH even across inland areas on Tuesday morning. Over and around exposed coasts, the risk of 60-65 MPH gusts is also slightly enhanced. Isolated gusts to 70MPH are not impossible around Tor Head / north Down coast particularly near squally (potentially thundery) showers. The period between 7-00am and midday will be windiest and the slight increase in wind speed indicated suggests a somewhat greater risk of branch / tree damage to contend with during the morning rush hours.
