Latest ideas in education: They are talking about bringing ing forward GCSE and A level exams to earlier in the year to accommodate Islamic students as it clashes with Ramadan. Alternatively they propose that Islamic students get extra marks if their performance is affected by fasting. The other proposal is that the exams are done earlier in the day when the students might not be so hungry. Minority strikes again! I was sickening for mumps and hooping cough at the time I took my old 11 plus. Failed. Never got any extra marks for that!!! I think the world is gone bonkers
