Latest lava information update from USGS via Mileka Lincoln @MilekaLincoln 11:45am HST Flow is now about 820 yards from Pahoa Village Rd, advancing at rate between 10-15yd/hr moving toward Pahoa town. Flow may be splitting into two breakouts, widened to about 150 yds, 30 yd finger moved through Pahoa cemetery. Hawaii Co. Civil Defense: flow is advancing through tall, lush, green pasture land & there is no brush fire threat. Hawaii Co: flow now about 300 yds away from the closest structure,a Pahoa home; residents are aware & prepared to evacuate. Tuesday still the target evacuation date, flow has been inconsistent & unpredictable, residents need to be ready. HELCO confirms the one utility pole impacted by the flow is still standing & there has been no disruption to service. Hawaii Co: flow projected impact area is still along Pahoa Village Rd. between Apaa Street & Post Office Road.
