Latest news in Ukraine: Russian shot down a US recon drone yesterday, adding further to the tensions. Although Ukraine is not (yet) Russian territory and there was no violation of law, Russia nevertheless took military action against the US in their ongoing invasion. In other news, Russian forces crossed the border and moved out of the Crimean region of the Ukraine and occupied a gas transfer station and city just north of where their previous territorial demands had been. Finally, the President of Estonia, whose country was occupied by the Soviet Union and only recd its independence when the Soviet Union broke up, said that Russia was also preparing to invade eastern Ukraine. And yet the US has done nothing but talk and threaten. Oh, correction--the President two weeks ago announced military cuts that will make the US military smaller than any time since before WWII..
