Latest review on tripadvisor.co.uk We went here on a whim. We live locally and fancied going out for a change. We were attracted by the Eat for around £10 menu- which was £10.25 if I remember correctly. Although I ended up going for the Midweek menu instead. We both had the Black Pudding on haggis risotto to start. Stornoway black pudding when its cooked properly is just delicious- and this was. For the main course I had some cuts of boar and pork belly which were well cooked and very tasty. Could have done with a touch more sauce but thats just my opinion. My other half had a sea bream and salmon dish which she enjoyed very much. Both dishes were served with mash. We shouldnt have had desserts as we really didnt have room but we had the chocolate torte and the sticky toffee pudding. Again, I wouldve liked a touch more sauce with the toffee pudding. The service here was excellent- cant be faulted. It was my first time here but will definitely be back.
