A pass in AMIE examinations has been recognized by the Central and State Governments in India as equivalent to the B.E/B.Tech degree all over the world. These students are eligible to apply for admission to the Post Graduate Engineering Courses in all the Indian Universities,IIM ,IIT Institutions.. Persons who are employed in industries can improve their position and employment prospects by passing the AMIE examinations through Regular/ Part Time Classes. The institution examinations have been categorically divided into three main groups. CATEGORY ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA Section A (Non-Diploma) Pass in 10+2 with MPC 45% Or equivalent or Pass in 1st year exam in 3years Bachelor’s Degree course with any one of the subject MPC Section A (Diploma) Completion Diploma Section B Section A Completion Recognisation Letter from the Authorities COURSE DETAILS SECTION A (NON- DIPLOMA) 10 SUBJECTS AN 201 FUNDAMENTALS OF DESIGN & MANUFACTURING AN 202 MATERIAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING AN 203 COMPUTING AND INFORMATICS AN 204 SOCITY AND ENVIRONMENT AN 205 MECHANICAL SCIENCE AN 206 ENGINEERING PHYSICS &CHEMISTRY AN 207 ENGINEERING DRAWING & GRAPHICS AN 208 ELECTRONICS AND INSTRUMENTATION AN 209 ENGINEERING MATHEMATICS AN 210 ELECTRICAL SCIENCE A candidate shall be required to pass in all the ten subjects given above. Maximum marks for examination in each subject in 100. Duration of Examination for each subject is three hours. Grading System is allowed for all subjects of Section A (Non-Diploma). A.M.I.E A candidate shall not be permitted to appear in more than four subjects in one term, including the subjects in which he appeared previously but could not secure the minimum grade “C”. SECTION A (DIPLOMA) 04 (FOUR) SUBJECTS AD 301 FUNDAMENTALS OF DESIGN & MANUFACTURING AD 302 MATERIAL SCIENCE & ENGINEERING AD 303 COMPUTING AND INFORMATICS AD 304 SOCITY AND ENVIRONMENT A candidate shall be required to pass in the above four subjects. Maximum marks for examination in each subjects is 100.The duration of examination for each subjects is three hours. Grading System is followed for all subjects of Section A (Diploma). A Candidate shall not be permitted to appear in all the four subjects at a time in one term, including the subjects in which he appeared previously but could not secure the minimum grade “C” SECTION B EXAMINATION After passing Section A (Non-Diploma) or Section A (Diploma) examination in full, a candidate is required to apply for registration for Section B examination in any one of the engineering discipline of his choice in which examinations are conducted. Section A completed member is required to pass a total of nine subjects six compulsory and three optional. Grading System is followed for all subjects of Section B. Section A completed members can appear for the examination for four subjects of his choice in one examination. The successful completion of the Institution’s Examination, which is recognized by the Government of India, the UPSC and the UGC as equivalent to a degree in engineering, makes the graduate eligible for employable as a bachelor degree holder and also for the Post Graduate and doctoral studies in India and aboard.
