Latest update on Derrick Blewett: today wasnt the best of days. His MRI that he had yesterday on his leg came back fine. His neck started bothering him yesterday and today he had a place show up on his head/neck that was extremely painful (like his leg) and it grew worse at a rapid rate. They rushed him to do an MRI on it and he became very weak and had difficulty breathing because the pain in his chest was worse today from the pleurisy. That MRI also came back fine. The Infectious Disease Dr. feels that he has an infection or abscess in his heart that is causing these places to show up on his body. They are going to do a CT scan on his head in the morning and a TEE scan on his heart at 1:30. Hopefully we will get some answers. I just know that he is already so weak and these tests are taking their toll. I am so thankful that we have had great nurses that have been wonderful advocates for us. Its definitely been a roller coaster ride but we know God is on this ride with us. Please continue sending prayers.
