Latest update on #FreeAbuMuwahhid (6th August 2013) He looked very healthy and youthful today, you would think he is at least 5 years younger than his age! He was smiling and had Noor on his face when he met myself and my brother Abu Salih. He has been reciting the Quran daily and making use of the daytime to memorise it, in the evenings he makes Qiyam Ul Layl and studies many books of hadeeth including imam nawawi 40th hadeeth amongst other books of Aqeedah. Today marks two months of his time spent in jail and this is a reminder to us to our dear brothers plight behind Bars where is away from his family friends and loved ones. Whilst this is a trial we proposed to him that in the divine planning of Allah (swt) this is and was probably the best part of his life for him to be inside prison for a number of reasons. Firstly because he is still young and has health Secondly he has his mind focused to study now in life hard which is more difficult later on. Thirdly that is youngest and only daughter is still young so she may not be so affected at this age that at an age of maturity. Fourthly because the period of our Dawah is in a stage where we are at an early stage in the west of bringing to light the message of al kufr bit taghout and the principles of Tawheed to an audience who have never heard of this before. So this time spent now would only help in its own profile of Dawah to further itself which will be a slap in the face of the oppressors. Nothing can stop the message of Islam, the pure message of Tawheed to be oppressed and although they may have the upper hand it is a matter of time before truth ruins falsehood and all its ideas. In the end they plot and plan but Allah (swt) is the best of planners. He reminded the brothers on the outside to be vigilant and careful about their movements especially online because the laws are so loose nowadays that anyone can be taken away from his or her family for an innocent statement or quote published online and none of us prefer to have the kuffar over us with the upper hand. He reminded us that we should not pretend to be people in a zone which we are clearly not, this not only harms the Dawah but any furthering of it is put to a halt time and time again and we should think how to pass our message of Islam and defend the Haq and its people so as the message is passed without compromise of course, but in a way which is able to flourish. He in his own contemplation bought to light to our attention of the assistance he has recieved from sheikh Ahmad Musa Jibril of which he asked us to thank on his behalf, he said how strange it is he has known others for ten years or more but they never contacted him in prison nor wrote to him, yet the sheikh who he has known under a year has been of help so much. We reminded him how much he is needed in the Dawah and how much he is missed by all the brothers and sisters. He sent his Salam to you all especially in light of the now approaching Eid period. He prays all of your fasts are accepted and you and your families have a wonderful eid. He especially asked you all to make dua for him in the last nights of Ramadan and make dua for his swift release and forgiveness. We left him smiling but ourselves In a state of sadness because now a period has passed where we no longer just ask what he needs but we look to how much we need him and are merly counting away the time from when he is back with us inshallah. Never the less the truth is far brighter than the batil of the oppressors and despite those who think they have the upper hand we still have our Tawheed and this is unshakable.
