Latest upper air Skew-T from NWS in North Little Rock shows a warm - TopicsExpress

Latest upper air Skew-T from NWS in North Little Rock shows a warm nose (inversion) at 2,700 feet. Southwest winds at that level also, so it will indeed advect warm air in. Temp is 40F at nearly 5,000 FT. Sounding does show about 2200FT thick area of freezing air starting at the surface. That indicates we would start as sleet. ALOT of dry air still at all levels below 10K FT....especially around 2500FT up to 4700FT or so. Precip is also a bit ahead of schedule. It should be into C AR after 3 A.M. Stay tuned!
