The Gunners have been linked with a move for Queens Park Rangers forward Remy as summer transfer speculation intensifies. Remy has reportedly told his QPR bosses that he intends to leave the club at the end of the season as he looks for a club with a bigger stature. Although Arsenal remain a viable destination, a report relayed by Frichajes.net indicates that they will only turn to Remy if they fail to land other targets. The Gunners are said have drawn up a list of two priority forward signings as they look for a strike partner for Frenchman Olivier Giroud. Arsenal have been linked with a move for Bayern Munich striker Mario Mandzukic in recent weeks, while they are also expected to go back in for Schalke’s Julian Draxler. Mandzukic is widely expected to leave Bayern this summer with the arrival of Robert Lewandowski from Borussia Dortmund imminent.
