Latino Talent Spotlighted Weekly You never know whose going to show up to perform during Open Mic Night held 6 to 10 p.m. every Tuesday at La Galeria, 1224 Broadway, in Toledo. FLOC founder Baldemar Velasquez, Jacob Estrada from Los Mariachis Locos and local legends Frank Castro, Lupe Trinidad, and Johnny Flores are only a few of the special guests whove shown up to jam in recent weeks. The event, which is hosted by the Sofia Quintero Art & Cultural Center, 1225 Broadway, is open to the public. There is no admission charge. This weekly event is a community potluck, that helps bring together local musicians, comedians, poets, artists, and storytellers. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to share.
