Laughter Yoga – The TAMA-RAW Life “The TAMA-way living of a healthy life” College life is stress no more as FEUCSO conducted the Laughter Yoga event with the theme “The TAMA-way living of a Healthy Life”. LAP hall accommodated more than it can as the room was filled with joy and laughter. Emcee Arnel Sayasa entertained the audience by asking some participants about their expectation of the said event. Meanwhile, to break the ice and amuse the attendees, FEUCSO President, Nathan Sison together with the newly appointed FEUCSO Auditor, Josua Villapando conducted a game where everyone actively participated and had fun. After the ice breaker, a video from 24-oras and Saksi was played featuring the invited guest laughter yogist, Mr. Paolo Trinidad. FEUCSO Treasurer, Mark Lacsinto led the prayer as the event officially opened. On the other hand, FEUCSO President, Nathan Sison welcomed everyone by delivering his opening speech, leaving a famous line “laughter is cheaper than medicine”. Shortly after, Mr. Paolo Trinidad, the first certified laughter yoga practitioner who trained in India under Dr. Madan Kataria, MD kick started the event by first showing a video from Kapuso mo Jessica Soho featuring his legacy in the country. The participants underwent the basics of laughter yoga. The room was filled with giggles and laughs. Towards the end of the event, Mr. Trinidad explained the benefits of laughter yoga to our body. He even said that by just simply laughing, regardless if it may be genuine or forced, still, the benefits of laughing will be attributed by our body, thus, making us healthy and stress – free. It is true that college is a stressful life, but no doubt that one can easily fight the stress if only one knows how to laugh. The event ended with the awarding of certificates and photo opportunity with the guest himself. It was truly a day full of learning and amusement for the FEU community.
