Launch of the Manual Get to Know the Constitution and What It Means to You” Nansen Dialogue Centre Sarajevo will organize on Wednesday, 30th of October 2013, the launch of the Manual “Get to Know the Constitution and What It Means to You”. The launch will be held in Sarajevo, at Hotel Europe (Conference hall Atrium), at 11:00 hours. After the launch there will be a discussion on subject “Challenges of development of critical thinking among students”. Keynote speakers will be Ms. Mary-Ann Hennessy, Head of the Council of Europe to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Ingrid Vik, member of the Steering Board of Nansen centre for peace and dialogue, Norway, and Mr. Damir Marjanović. The Manual is intended to teaching staff in high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and comprise following themes from the area of the Constitution and democracy: historical development of constitutionality, human rights and mechanisms for its protection, jurisdictions and level of governance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, case analyses from practice of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina and court practice of the European Court for Human Rights in Strasbourg. Promocija Priručnika Upoznaj Ustav i ono što ti pruža Nansen dijalog centar Sarajevo će u srijedu, 30. oktobra 2013. godine, organizovati promociju Priručnika „Upoznaj Ustav i ono što ti pruža“. Promocija će se održati u Hotelu “Evropa” u Sarajevu (sala Atrijum), u 11:00 sati. U okviru promocije priručnika biće upriličena i diskusija na temu „Izazovi razvoja kritičkog mišljenja kod učenika“. Između ostalih, uvodničari će biti Mary-Ann Hennessy, šefica Ureda Vijeća Evrope u BiH, Ingrid Vik, članica Upravnog odbora Nansen centra za mir i dijalog, Norveška, i Damir Marjanović. Priručnik je namijenjen nastavnom osoblju u srednjim školama u BiH, i obuhvata sljedeće tematske cjeline iz oblasti Ustava i demokratije: istorijski razvoj ustavnosti, ljudska prava i mehanizmi njihove zaštite, nadležnosti i nivoi vlasti u Bosni i Hercegovini, te analizu slučajeva iz prakse Ustavnog suda BiH i sudske prakse Evropskog suda za ljudska prava iz Strazbura.
