Laura Buxton, 10, once released a balloon that had both her name and address on it. The balloon landed in another house which was some 140 miles away from Laura’s. Unbelievably, there lived a girl, also 10 years old, who happened to have the same name and surname : Laura Buxton. But the coincidences didn’t stop there : when the girls arranged to meet both wore similar outfits without previously discussing it; they were the same height which was unusual because they were both quite tall for their age; they also had the same hair color and hair cut; they also had pets which were identical in breed and color : black Labrador Retrievers, both aged 3 and grey pet rabbits. When the girls met, they both brought their guinea pigs to show the other without telling about it in advance. The guinea pigs had very similar orange markings on their bodies. These girls seemed to be living parallel lives just 140 miles apart from each other.
