Laura Leigh and I are heading up to Jackson to Baptist to see our dear friends also our PBC deacon Danny Quick and his precious wife Cindy as Danny is getting treatment there. Then back to the church and then over to Laurel to our home there where our longtime special friends and former youth minister and wife at Crowder Baptist Charlie and Tracey Stallings many moons ago and their two children are coming this evening to spend the 4th with us and the children will be swimming. The family on both sides and a host of friends are coming over to our house for a picnic and to celebrate Independence Day tomorrow afternoon as well with barbeque, ( ribs and chicken) and all the trimmings, homemade peach ice cream, Smith county watermelon to boot!!!!
