Laura Leigh and I have been praying for the upcoming election and all involved. I have prayed regularly and have over the last years and weeks prayed many many times with and for my cousin Senator Chris McDaniel. I have spoken and prayed as recently with Chris as yesterday and today and since before he announced his candidacy. Our late Dads were the best of friends, basketball teamates since childhood and cousins on the Flynt- McDaniel- Sullivan side of our family from Covington county. We are called as believers to love and pray for one another. The bond of brotherhood and family of seeking in prayer Gods will and praying for Gods hedge of protection for Chris and his dear family Laura Leigh and I have done and will always do. The Ben B. James, Sr Memorial Highway on Highway 84 and Highway 588 in Collins, Ms to Ellisville, Ms and the Salem School Road is the heart of mine and Chriss home and our Dads home. With basketballs in hand in Heaven today I know that Coach Carlos Ray McDaniel and Coach Ben B. James, Jr are smiling down in that great cloud of witnesses I told Chris this afternoon!!! Let us all never forget to love, encourage and pray daily for each other and our loved ones and our family!!! May God Bless America Psalm 33:12
