Laura Unitetocare Witkoposted toAnimal Abusers caught & prosecuted- warnings to rescues in uk Options for this story Here are the results of the arraignment hearing today for the torturer of Puppy Doe, Radoslaw Artur Czerkawski : He is being held on $500,000 bond ( I am reading that it is a cash bail, and that he has to pay the entire $500,000 to get out on bail, not sure that is correct) He had to surrender his passport He has another warrant out for his arrest, for stealing $6000 from a church He had $30,000 in his bank account There were scratch marks on doors, blood, hair, paw prints in the house where he was staying with the 95 year old woman he was the caretaker for. The evidence found in the home matched the DNA of Puppy Doe He plead not guilty He will be facing 5 years for each count of animal cruelty, which could be against one dog, but multiple abuse. But.. if he got 5 years for every 11 counts of animal abuse he was charged with, it COULD be served concurrently The woman he was a caretaker for, died the same day Puppy Doe was found Next hearing, pre-trial, will be November 21st His defense attorney asked that the documents in the case be sealed, that the public not be made privy to that info, but the judge ruled against that. There were so many Puppy Doe supporters at the arraignment hearing, they ran out of seats. There were also several people outside in support of Puppy Doe, with their pit bulls.. There were reports that almost everyone in the seats in the courtroom started to cry when the injuries to Puppy Doe were outlined by the DA when presenting the case to the judge.
