Laura asks on our page, I need some help and encouragement. I am a mom of 2 1/2 year old twin boys....thats not why I am asking for help...ha ha! One of my boys recently took up screaming whenever my husband or I are not within visual proximity. Bed time, playtime, anytime even in the company of his brother. Now Ive heard of separation anxiety but we are a family of four and my husband is a stay at home daddy who spends a lot of time interacting with them and I work from a home office. Weve timed his fits to see if moves on to play or sleep and he doesnt! Only is someone is nearby or watching. My other son shows no signs of this issue and plays or sleep just fine in the midst o the carrying on. We make it a point to check in every 10-15 mins if we need to step away, talking calmly and reassuring him we love him and will be back, pray with him, lots of extra love but nothing helps when we turn to go do something the screaming starts. Had ears an medical check and there is nothing. Maybe they are spoiled with too much of our time or ...? We are both at the end of our rope. Comments, suggestions?
