Law School News: National Law University, Odisha (Reported by Mandar Bhatodkar) First NLUO Literary Festival from the 27th to 29th of March, 2014! This three day festival shall celebrate the colourful heritage of writing and reading. The Festival shall underscore themes of comedy, music, dance, drama, visual arts and literature including elements of film and music and shall feature events like book readings by eminent authors, book stalls, panel discussions, a book launching ceremony and shall cover an extensive range of material like novels, short stories, drama, poetry, crime fiction, science fiction, literary biographies, popular science writing, travelogues, screen writing, children’s books, literary criticism, Drama and Band performances and a few surprise events! A few notable names of the literati would include Mr Amandeep Sandhu, the author of the bestselling Sepia Leaves and Roll of Honour, is a journalist with The Economic Times, Ms Meghna Pant who is an Indian novelist and Financial Journalist. Her bestselling book One and a Half Wife was shortlisted for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award, The Cinnamon Press Novel Writing Award and Word Hustler’s Literary Storm and Mr Brajesh Panda, who has worked as a reporter with The Pioneer, a leading newspaper in the country etc.
