(Transport help available) “HAILEY” is a beautiful soul that, sadly, has no use of her hind legs. The shelter she is in does not know the cause, but they were able to find a donated wheelchair which has helped her to get around. Wheelchairs however, are supposed to be custom built for comfort and ease of use. Since hers is a hand me down, she struggles a bit as it is likely uncomfortable for her. She is only about 12 months old. When she arrived at our shelter she was unable to walk. She is able to stand and tries to walk but her back legs spread out behind her when she moves forward. The veterinarian said that she may have suffered a neck injury. She is so sweet and easy to love. She loves everyone she meets and even loves playing with other dogs. We have a wheelchair for her so she can go outside for walks and play. Again, she can get up and stand on her own and she can move around and stand and eat and drink on her own. “Hailey” is current on her vaccinations and will be micro-chipped before her adoption. She is quite a remarkable girl. She needs a loving home with experience with dog ownership and the financial ability to care for her.
