Lawrence Ibe Lets think about this for a while, when ever there is a huge donation like the recent N21 billion for GEJ 2015 election campaign by business owners, companies and individuals, there is always an aftermath of price increase on goods and services. In 2011, we saw the removal of fuel subsidy just few days after elections, we saw the increase in price of cement, we saw the increase in the price of flour, sugar and other commodities just to mention a few and right now, after the huge donations given to the president for another campaign. another scheming has started. Another Increase in the price of electricity tariff already approved by the FG, planned total removal of fuel subsidy by March 2015, planned increase on charges of mobile phone services by April 2015 and these are the few we know for now and certainly more will come. Also, PDP governors donated N50 million each and these same governors have not paid salaries for months to civil servants in their respective states and yet they have N50 million to dash out, like T.A Orji of Abia and Gabriel Suswan of Benue. In all these, it certainly makes me believe that some individuals, companies and government agencies always try to recoup their donations to GEJ campaign by forcing it out of ordinary Nigerians through any means like price increase. With the dwindling price of oil, Dubious people and businesses will always use this development to their advantage and swindle the already poor Nigerians. Just another reason why we need change.
