Lax Nation; I wanted to inform our local boys lacrosse community that Fall Lacrosse sign-ups are open. Due to the extreme growth of lacrosse in Chesterfield county – space will be limited, Please do not delay in registering. Teams will include U9, U11, U13, U15 (No high school experience), High School assigned by US Lacrosse age guidelines. Due to league insurance requirements – all players must have a valid US Lacrosse membership at sign-up which was not applicable in Spring. Practice days are under evaluation but will be two days per week for 90 minutes at Sportsquest or Stratton Park ; one weekday and one Saturday per team. The program will have coaches drawn from Weaver, Dominion, Richmond Shock, Venom, James River & Midlothian High School Varsity & JV – an impressive bunch for fall ball. Generally, Fall is highly focused on skill development and the perfect time for new players to begin their journey to high school or travel lacrosse- beginners are welcome. Pinneys will be provided but players will need to bring; stick, helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, protective cup and mouth guard. Registration Link: dominionlacrosse (Registration is at left hand side “Register Now”) Below are the league details: · Reserve August 25th & 26th for Preseason Clinic and equipment assessments · League play will begin September 2 and conclude by November 23 · The fee for U9 players is $75. · The fee for U11 players is $125 · The fee for U13 players is $150 · The fee for U15 players is $150 (HS Juniors program) · The fee for High School Lacrosse is $150 (HS Senior program) · Each team will hold 3 - 4 practice sessions before the season starts · Each team will play 7-9 regular games during the season, intersquad and external · Each player will receive a numbered league reversible (cost included in registration fees) · We will offer free goalie clinics during the season · Additional free position clinics will be offered during the season, dates and time to follow · Officials at each game · Certified Trainer on site for games · All goalies that play the entire fall season will receive a 50% refund when the season is over. You must attend all games. · $10 discount for each additional child · All players MUST be members of US Lacrosse for insurance purposes.
