Layla, a gorgeous 20 month old Staghound cross was adopted from our North Melbourne shelter. In November last year Layla suffered from a ruptured cruciate which was repaired at our Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic. Due to unforeseen circumstances Layla is back at the shelter and looking for a new home. We wanted to ensure that her new owners are aware of the following: - She’s a large breed dog, so will need plenty of yard space to explore and laze around in - Layla will need to be on restricted exercise for the next few months whilst she recovers from her surgery - She may require X-rays in a couple of months to ensure her cruciate has healed properly - Staghounds are a lovely, calm natured breed but aren’t the biggest fans of cats If you think that Layla would be a perfect match for your family you can contact us on 03 9329 2755 or come down to our North Melbourne shelter at 2 Gracie Street, North Melbourne. Our veterinary staff will be happy to discuss Layla’s needs with you further.
