Layla’s light: We have all made mistakes in our lives. We all have to deal with the consequences of our mistakes....and have ultimately learned from them. God knows our heart...and has instantly forgiven us for our mistakes as soon as we confess them and ask Him for forgiveness. Why then...do so many people carry around the guilt related to the past? There is no reason to carry around unnecessary burdens. God has given us the amazing gift of forgiveness....through His Son Jesus Christ. Accept this gift....fully. God forgives and forgets....and He allows us the opportunity to do the same. God loves us unconditionally. So next time you begin to wander off into that pool of past regrets....stop yourself.
