Layla’s light: You have been saved from disgrace....and are unconditionally loved and forgiven....by grace. Most of us don’t really comprehend exactly what that means. In fact....it is so extremely huge....that many times we either cannot or don’t know how....to wrap our mind around this reality. Grace is being given what we do not deserve. Grace is God’s love....God’s open arms....God’s forgiveness....God’s desire for you to be released from the bondage of disgrace and sin. Grace gives hope. Sometimes we don’t even have hope anymore....and that is where God’s grace comes in. God knows we are all going to make mistakes. God doesn’t want us to be stuck in that pit of guilt....destruction....or emptiness. This is why God gave us His only Son Jesus Christ. Jesus suffered....died....and was resurrected....on behalf of us....undeserving sinners. We don’t deserve to be given any kind of excuse for our behavior. We don’t deserve anything that we have not earned, right? WRONG. God gives us His grace anyway. God gives us what we do not deserve. God gives us a chance to receive His everything. We have the choice to receive God’s grace....or to resist it. It is all about the choice we make. Choose to allow yourself to comprehend the greatness of this free gift of God’s grace. Set aside the pride....vanity....arrogance....or stubbornness that can cause you to not accept God’s grace. Believe that God loves you that much.....and have faith and trust in Him. Pray....repent....seek....accept....and begin to live a life of freedom....hope....and peace....given by the grace of God. #Grace #forgiveness #unconditionallove For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God – not the result of works, so that no one may boast.
