LeBron James has opted out of his contract with the Heat and become a free agent. This means a few things. 1. The Knicks cannot get him, unless they somehow dumped the expiring contracts of Amare, Bargnani, and probably Chandler a year early. 2. The Knicks cant sell Melo on a chance to team up with LeBron in New York after this coming season. 3. Im kind of scared the Heat or Lakers will find some way to sign both LeBron and Melo (which is actually possible). 4. Sportscenter will talk about nothing but LeBron 24/7. Wait, thats not new.
