LeBron James sat out as the Cleveland Cavaliers trumped the Milwaukee Bucks, while his former team Miami Heat lost again.Miami went down 109-103 to the Atlanta Hawks to suffer their fourth straight defeat in NBA pre-season, while Kevin Love made up for the absence of James and Kyrie Irving, scoring 25 points in Clevelands 106-100 victory over Milwaukee. The Cavaliers trailed by two points at half-time but recovered to extend their unbeaten pre-season to three matches. Love shot 8/11 from the field and 5/7 from three-point range, while Dion Waiters added 23 points for the Cavaliers. Jabari Parker scored 18 points for the Bucks. In Miami, Paul Millsap sank 23 points for Atlanta as the Hawks outscored the Heat 43-18 in the third quarter to win by six. The Heat started strongly, leading by 15 points at the end of the first quarter, but Atlanta crushed Miami in the middle two terms 72-39. Chris Bosh was the home sides main scorer with 22 points, while he also pulled down nine rebounds. The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame the Memphis Grizzlies 117-107, while in other results, the New York Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 84-77 and the New Orleans Pelicans cruised past the Houston Rockets 117-98.
