LeRoy Physical Therapy & Village Fitness are very proud to announce the 1st Annual Light the Knight 5K Fun Run/Walk at LeRoy High School/Hartwood Park on Saturday August 17th. This is a unique night-time 5K event which will be held on an illuminated cross-county course! Doors open at 7:30pm for registration; music and entertainment will be provided courtesy of “Amanda’s Rage,” and food concessions will be provided by the Smokin’ Eagle BBQ & Brew. The race begins under the lights at the football stadium at 8:30pm, with awards to follow. A flyer and registration form with additional details are attached to this email. Completed forms may be dropped off at LeRoy Physical Therapy/Village Fitness. An online registration form is currently being developed and will be announced very soon—see villagefit for details. Please also help us by spreading the word to your friends/contacts! All of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Cal-Mum 5, a fund created to assist the families of the Cal-Mum students who were tragically killed/injured in the car accident in Wheatland on July 16. Please help us support these families by attending the race or purchasing a luminary bag to light the trail. Five Star Bank has also established a fund for donations to the families.
