LeT Commander among 5 mujahids Martyed in Ganderbal Srinagar, August 30, 2013: Five top Lashkar-i-Toibamujahids were Martyed in an encounter at Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. Official sources told Srinagar based news gathering agency Global News Service (GNS) that acting on a tip off, army’s 24 RR and SOG cordoned off the Prang area of Wasun in Kangan,Ganderbal early wee hours today. As such the joint team intensified the search operation mujahids present there opened indiscriminate fire upon them ensuing a fierce gunbattle which lasted for about 2 hours, sources said.
