LeVeon Bell has just been named the 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers team MVP. In a season where Ben Roethlisberger has put together record breaking performances and Antonio Brown on pace to have the 2nd most receptions in NFL history it wouldnt have been an easy decision. However it would be hard to argue that the 2nd year back hasnt been the difference in getting the Steelers back in the playoffs. In 14, Bell has already broken Barry Fosters single-season team record of yards from scrimmage, is 2nd only to Demarco Murray in both rushing yards and total yards and 2nd to Matt Forte in receptions for a back with 77. Finally, two key areas that often get overlooked with backs that have stood out this year for me: Bell is an outstanding blocker and has ZERO fumbles.
