To add to their existing team they require a lead/senior planner. You will be based at the companies main office with other core members of the project management team Duties Project Schedule – develop and agree schedule(s);track/report progress; and implement controls. Developing in conjunction with the Project manager, the planning and scheduling systems and approach for the project. Developing and agreeing with all project stakeholders the project baseline schedule. Developing and issuing the Baseline schedule Notes for the project baseline schedule. Developing in conjunction with the project manager and others the plan for Man-hour expenditure and measuring of progress achievement, including the baseline ‘S’ curves. Undertaking risk analysis of the schedule. In accordance with the project procedures updating the schedule and manhour report. Determining and communicating to the Project Manager and Project Team areas of schedule delay Facilitating the project team in finding remedies to any project delays. Logging changes to the project schedule and maintaining records of all schedule related issues during the execution of a project. Organising schedule workshops at critical phases of the project (at project commencement, prior to Construction), to enable an agreed workable detailed schedule to be developed. Producing the schedule after a schedule workshop. Ensuring that all elements of the schedule are integrated and are capable of being integrated with other project schedules especially any Customer schedules. Identifying and communicating the Critical and near critical paths for the project. Ensuring that Tender Packages adequately describe contractors’ and consultants required planning and scheduling obligations. Assessing the compliance of contractors’ schedules with safety, project and contractual requirements Ensuring that you are provided with the construction labour profile for review Preparing from the agreed schedule, any look-ahead schedules required. Producing any “micro-schedules” required for specific issues. Ensuring that contractors’ planning and scheduling efforts meet with the project and contractual requirements. Implementing a means of measurement of Physical Progress Assisting the project quantity surveyors in the assessment of claims, in particular any claims involving delay, disruption and Extension of Time (EoT) Requirements Requirements: You will have at least 15 yrs. of experience. Major experience in Western countries with some experience in the gulf region. Medical experience would be highly beneficial Degree qualified Conditions: An excellent basic tax free salary will be provided along with allowances for accommodation and transport.
