Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your management and teaching skills in a good and improving primary school? Our expanding school (moving towards three-form entry) has exciting, new leadership opportunities to offer. We are now seeking to appoint an ambitious, excellent teacher responsible for monitoring & supporting teaching and learning in Lower Key Stage 2 and supporting improvements in the curriculum. We wish to appoint someone with proven success at raising standards in Years 3 and 4. You will join us as a Year 3 or 4 class teacher and will be provided with regular leadership time. Stoneydown Park Primary is a popular, oversubscribed community school in Walthamstow with good attainment, progress and behaviour. The school adjoins an attractive park and is two minutes walk from bus routes and Blackhorse Road station. Walthamstow High Street and market is five minutes walk away. Most classes have 30 pupils. The Nursery has 26 part time pupils in the morning and afternoon. The vast majority of children are motivated and behave well. They represent a range of backgrounds, cultures and languages.
