Leadership Development Program for Black Men (Applications due Feb. 7, 2014) The Institute is seeking the nation’s best and brightest African American male college students to participate in its summer 2014 program. The Institute for Responsible Citizenship prepares high-achieving African American men to be leaders of great character who make significant contributions to their communities, our country, and the world. Our intensive two-summer program includes: ·High-level paid internships ·Rigorous academic coursework ·Comprehensive leadership and professional development workshops ·Private briefings with influential leaders ·Housing provided by the Institute ·Service as teachers and mentors in the Institute’s Youth Scholar Academy.
