Leadership is looking past those who kiss immediate ass, who is nice, who covertly devalue accomplishments of team-members, and sell wolf-tickets to others, in an effort to select individuals that can do the job. Its not a popularity contest, how many likes on Instagram, whether you live there or not, or appeasing community egos. Its about choosing the right people for your team who can go from point A to point Z, who will do the prep work, and execute that plan.
