Leah Lee-Burnett This is what we both basically said today. Love you sister. Always will. You and me are sisters through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Im proud you are my sister. You are a a amazing women and mother and daughter and lastly friend. We are going to get through all these battles in life with love from God. We have to reach across the black line and the white line and love. My way back family lived at a time when racism was rampant. Back in the past way before us a many people did horrible things and that tainted the relationships between black and white. Fast forward to now and we are all still getting it wrong. We have a media frenzy that incites bad people to do bad things. We dont shine the light on those who are protesting peacefully or the cops that risk that lives everyday for everyones safety. All we are shown on tv is the racial tension and the worst of both races. We do have a sin problem. A nasty heart problem. A nasty attitude problem. We need to show one another the beautiful answer. God. Restoration and healing is possible but only if we work together and not say ok your black stand over there and ok your white so stand over here. Nope. Stand together. Disagree but do it side by side with dignity and respect. No one won this. Everyone hurts. As long as this violence and crime continues no one heals. Jesus is the answer. The end.
