Leah is running errands with me because she was so bound up with anxiety in the pool with everyone else. It is not unusual for her to be on the brink of incapacitation from anxiety. As Miah seems to have turned a corner for the better, Leah has also turned a corner and her needs are growing more intense. We will continue to seek guidance from her therapists and neurologist, but the thing that always helps and the thing she loves most in the world is to cling to Nala. I have a feeling we might have another service dog in our family in the foreseeable future. With glad tears I thank you God for the gift of animals, and a government that recognizes special needs!
