Leaked images of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 show thinner bezel and real metal With the expected launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 less than a month away, the internet has finally received pictures of what is purpotedly the final build of the device. The leaked images also show the device in what appears to be the final design of the box. Published on GSMArena, the image shows the device with a thinner bezel than that on its predecessor, a full metal frame, but still has the faux-leather back. The device also appears to be slightly larger than the about-to-be overthrown Note 3. The very noticeable metal rim around the edge of the smartphone, with a few breaks in the material along the bottom edge allowing wireless connectivity to function correctly, confirms the assertion that Samsung has been listening to the criticisms about it failing to give its devices a premium feel by always using plastic. If this leaked device does end up being the actual Note 4, it would be the first time a Samsung flagship has actually used real metal as part of the phones construction. The back cover also appears to have retained its faux-leather textured plastic, and the design seems more rectangular than the previous Galaxy Notes. Along the bottom, theres also a spot for the S-Pen, a micro-USB 3.0 port and a small speaker grill. Another leak from PhoneArena also shows the Galaxy Note 4s box, with an image that looks very much like the images of the phone. If the image of the box is indeed authentic, itll be the first release by Samsung in a few generations, to ditch the wooden-style packaging. The Galaxy Note 4s rumored specifications include a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or Samsung Exynos 5433 SoC, a 16-megapixel camera similar to the Galaxy S5, and a large array of sensors. But as always, were sure to expect more leaks since the actual launch is not until the 3rd of September.
