Leaning On His Presence Exodus 34:29 For many of us who grew up with a doing mindset, it is often difficult for us to rest and allow God take over the doing. It took a while for me to understand that, God doesnt want a 50-50 partnership with me, He wants a 100-0 partnership. My part is to learn to lean on His Presence, and His part is to make His Presence produce tangible results for me. I saw something quite amazing while looking at vs, 29 yesterday. The Scripture says Moses didnt know that the skin of his face was shining. People around him saw it, but he didnt know. He had not even the littlest contribution to that miraculous sight. All He did was to stay in His Presence, and the presence automatically generated the Glory. Friend, living a life without struggle is Gods desire for you, and the only way to living that life is to lean absolutely on God. This year, I have had mind-boggling experiences in my life and my assignment. Things seemed to be spinning out of control. You know what happened? I have learnt from what God told me… Do not put your faith in your faith, put it in my faithfulness. I literarily switched off, and I just lean on His Presence. You cant imagine what Ive seen happen just by obeying that instruction. Give it all to Him. Lean wholly on Him. Nothing you do will ever be sufficient, but there is an exceeding power at work in you, all you have to do is allow it. His Presence is able to make it happen, just lean on Him.
