Leap Ahead Assessment and Learning Centre is pleased to announce a Play and Art Therapy Workshop on 31st Jan, 1st , 7th , 14th & 15th Feb.2015. Timings: Saturdays (2 pm to 6pm) and Sundays (10am to 4pm). Eligible Participants: Special Educators, Psychologist and Counsellors. Fees: 7500/-(Inclusive of 10% service charge). Snacks and Tea will be provided on Saturdays and Lunch on Sundays. Training will include teaching participants how to prepare a play therapy kit. Certificate of participation will be given by Leap Ahead Assessment and Learning Centre. If participants require certificate from Miss Malini Shah of Aastha Chrysalis, there will be an extra charge of Rs.800/- to be paid directly to the faculty. About the Faculty: Miss Malini Shah is the founder of Aastha Chrysalis. She holds a post graduate degree in counseling and testing. She has expertise in areas such as Personal Counseling, Cognitive and Gestalt Therapy, Play Therapy, Career testing and Counseling, Psychometric Testing, Adolescent Counselling and Behavioural Training. Last Date for Registration: 20th Jan, 2015 Content of Workshop Day 1 • Introduction and Expectations from Program • Group Activity on Importance of Play and Art Therapy • Individual activity on drawing • Group activity on Interpretations • Understanding drawing Interpretations Day 2 • Drawing Interpretation Practice activity in pairs. • Color therapy- Understanding the colors in drawings • Using colors as means to manage emotions • Importance of Narrative therapy and Applications • Basic constructs of story writing/telling Day 3 • Practice in group • Medium of puppets and understanding its use • Making puppets and selection of puppets • Ways to use puppets-Case studies and usage of puppets practice Day 4 • Socio drama- movement therapy observations points • How role plays can contribute in sessions • Role playing activity • Clay therapy- understanding modality, Healing Grief, Fear, Removing blocks, converting anger. Day 5 • Practice with clay and in pairs • Sand Play Therapy- usage in different age groups v/s Sand tray Therapy • Things that can be used in Sand play Therapy • Sand Play Therapy in emotional healing • Making Play Therapy Kit.
