Leap of Faith I have come to the realisation that some of the opportunities I lost in my life were due to my indecisiveness and/or tardiness to make a decision. This has led me to a change in attitude which requires for me to seize the day and grab the chance as it avails itself with as much courage as I can master. When a door opens it is up to you to step in and take advantage of the prospects afforded to you. However, we tend to hang back, crippled by fear of the unknown and a feeling of inadequacy. Therein lies the defining factor between going forward and being left behind. As important as research and analysis are to success, so is our timing. Most chances are lost as a result of wrong timing which is often caused by indecision or hesitation and being late to the game. If we are to make these aspects work for our benefit it is imperative that we learn when to apply each one of them. Hesitating can cost you in time and resources but at the same time one cannot rush in blindly. You do not prepare when you are already in the middle of the battle, but you strategise before you engage. This gives you the tactical advantage to conquer the challenge ahead of you. Likewise, we ought to research and prepare in advance for whatever endeavour we wish to embark on. It begins in the mind with what we believe, what we know and how we intend to get to our destination. Once you have conditioned your mind it enables you to be able to make those split second decisions. Read as much as you can, ask many questions, broaden your network and believe in what you can achieve. Ruvimbo “SummerRain” Nazare Follow me on Twitter @RueNazzy
