Learn the Business of Babysitting! A “CYSitters” Babysitting Certification Class will be offered October 6 - 7 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at SKIESUnlimited Gym, Bldg. 4555 for youth ages 12 and up. The two-day course is designed to familiarize teens with the responsibilities of babysitting and skills and techniques needed for sitters to become competent and caring. Students will also learn CPR by certified Red Cross instructors, safety, discipline skills, nutrition, and entertainment ideas. Students will receive training materials, a certificate of completion, a babysitting course card, and will be placed on the CYSS babysitting referral list. The two-day course meets all of the Garrison’s requirements. Register for the class at Parent Central Services or on Webtrac through knoxmwr. Participants must be registered with CYSS to sign up.
