Learn to ride sand in the idyllic Bilene - Mozambique Riding in sand is a challenge for any motorcycle rider. Learn how to do it, accept the challenge at one of the prettiest venues in Southern Africa. Bilene, also known as Praia do Bilene, a town in southern Mozambique, lying 140 kilometers northeast of Maputo in the province of Gaza. It is known as a beach resort, lying on the Mozambique Channel. Noted for its calm and clear lagoon, the Uembje Lagoon, giving way to the pounding Indian Ocean beyond tall dunes, it is reported to be the closest beach destination to the city of Johannesburg in neighboring South Africa. Our 5 day tour will include accommodation at 5 star venue and all meals. Woema Productions will also include pictures and video of the tour as part of the package. A backup vehicle with refreshments and a motorcycle trailer will accompany the tour. Our tour leader Jan “Sand” Coetzee will be leading and teaching you how to be victorious in the sand. A 170-kilometer dirt road on the way to Bilene will prepare you for the sand. Woema Productions will assist with all relevant documentation and advice for border crossings and tour preparations.
