Actually, every charity project is tough. Doing business is such a breeze by comparison. Still, Im confident we will have 1000 people attending the event. I will always remember the words of Richard Tan, my partner and friend.he once told me: When I set a goal, I put my whole life into it to make sure it becomes a reality. The uphill climb is not made any easier because I still have to work. Yes, I have to work. In my opinion, I have the hardest job in town. I also have to be involved with grassroots work and other charities. On top of that, I have lots of academic assignments. And I have to teach new subject materials within the next one week. Having said that, I know my challenges are nothing compared to what the survivors of the typhoon are going through in Philippines. I will beat another door down to raise every precious dollar and cent 1. Three (3) Yeses And Three (3) Nos For Doing Good Works. I have posted my personal principles for working as a team on Facebook. This is a reminder for all our volunteers who have been working very hard. Some of them are suffering work fatigues and stress. As usual, we have our fair share of naysayers. Somehow, there will always be a group of people who think that that they are entitled to grumble, grouse, and gripe. When they do that, they believe they will remove problems and add to the solutions. Im happy for them. They can only make us a stronger and more resilient team. 3. Wonderful Offer. We need more volunteers. Pl pass the message. 5. Esteemed Speakers. Our reknowned speakers have been pressurized by you-know- who to help us drive bums to seats. When we started promoting Learnathon 2013, we promoted it as a charity project. Bad mistake. Somehow, it didnt work well. Probably because charity event means low standards. We are begging them to donate on the grounds of sympathy. I believe that Leanathon 2013 is a seminar that provides the highest values. Participants will benefit from the speakers wisdom. It is worth much more than $100 per head. Lets sell Learnathon 2013s unique strengths, advantages, benefits, values, and edge. Go4It! 7. To All Volunters, I know you are trying hard to promote Learnathon 2013. Please do not feel stressed. If its too hard, take a break. Just try your best. We are doing good and should be proud of it.
